The UK distributor for Honey Trap is Anchor bay which would be Released in 2015.  Other films that Anchor bay has distributed is top girl ( which was a successful with the target audience that was chosen to market this film)

Honey trap will be exhibited in independent cinemas across the UK a lot of effort will have to be exerted in the process to make the film successful.

Honeytrap used different marketing techniques such as a Facebook page, twitter campaign, tumblr blogs, and sold to distributors.

The film showcased a lot of social inclusion because it made he film more appealing to wider audiences, therefore more people are willing to watch the film because they are able to identify with it.

The film will be successful in appealing to a wider national audience because its British actors starring in a british production, and again is easy to identify with so people will most likely watch it an take a positive reading to it.

Honeytrap exchange

Honeytrap exchange.

Honeytrap will be released on 17th October in the UK by BFI London film festival however it will be released generally in February 2015. The type of theaters and cinemas that Honeytrap would be exhibiting is independent. 


Honey trap will be released nationwide around England due to that this is an independent film. Therefore, it will have to put more effort in so loads of people are able to watch it to gain more publicity and be more successful by the audience.

The different marketing tools that have been used to promote the film to different audiences are social media sites such as Facebook, twitter and tumblr. This is because it is cheaper and it can relate to the audience much more better.





The target audience for Honeytrap is young urban adults (15-25). This is because they want people to watch it if they can relate to this film more better but of course anyone can still watch it. 
To raise money for the film they did an online campaign where people can donate their own money to help produce the film. This method is called crowd founding.  



Honeytrap was marketed through various of ways such as an trailer which in now on you tube, posters and advertisement.

   

Furthermore, BFI London film festival is involved in promoting the film. The role and purpose of this is that because Honeytrap is an independent and low budget film they wont gain much publicity and awareness so BFI is here to increase their fame value.
